Full Exposure

Full stone exposure finish is one of the most popular finishes, and it shows you as much of the stone as possible through your floor. Provided the concrete slab has been poured evenly and to specifications, you should have full stone showing through.

To achieve the full stone exposure look, it is more labour-intensive than the minimal and medium random finishes, as we have to grind the floor multiple times to get all the stone showing, and therefore is typically more expensive.

As a general rule, we'll grind down 4-to-6mm depending on the hardness of the slab, and will avoid going any more than this, as there can be complications with the slab.

The full stone exposure finish is a decorative finish and is best used in homes and showrooms.
