What our customers say

Demonstrated by our long list of Google Reviews, once you’ve had us polish your floor, you’ll never look at another concrete polishing provider.

Steve and his team at GrindnShine are approachable, friendly and all round good eggs.

Whilst flat out busy (always a good sign) they still managed to fit me in, with realistic timescales (which they stuck to) and kept me up to date with progress. The finish and colour are amazing and exactly as advised. One completely happy customer here who will be returning and recommending to anyone who needs work doing. Thanks again guys, legends!

Can’t praise Steve enough for the job on my GT86.

Can’t praise Steve enough for the job on my GT86. Tried a cheeky manoeuvre in traffic and ended up folding my passenger wing on the steel hinge of a stationary flatbed who’s driver couldn’t care less (can’t blame him, my fault and the …More

The team at Grind n Shine are absolute legends, friendly, proactive, and fun.

Over the past year, I’d taken my car to several other paint shops that never seemed to have the time for me or just messed me about. One day I spotted Grind n Shine from the road, dropped in on a whim, and Steve had my bumper looking better than ever in no time at all. He even took the initiative to walk me through fitting the bumper in detail, even though I was doing that part myself, a genuine care for his customers. Even the way they’ve set up and decorated the workshop reflects the pride they take in what they do. Couldn’t ask for better service and couldn’t recommend them enough.

Such a positive experience in every respect

Such a positive experience in every respect , highly recommended. Steve and the team did a fantastic repair job on my car for a very fair price but moreover there is such a vibe of genuine kindness and honesty and humour in this place and a sense that they enjoy their job . Thank you

Steve and the team at Grind & Shine

Steve and the team at Grind & Shine were brilliant after my car was damaged in a pub car park. Not the biggest job,but they gave me a quote to give to the person responsible, then were quick and efficient in getting the job done. Definitely would recommend.

Steve did an immaculate repair on a huge scrape on the side of my Nissan Juke. I really appreciated his help, his calm and the huge depth of experience that he brought to the situation – fairly priced too. Thank you Steve,Anne and the Grind and Shine team, you’re fabulous.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had the most wonderful experience with the Grind and Shine crew, Rob and Will worked did 2 driveways for us, grinding back and sealing our concrete and then did an epoxy/flake floor in our garage. The boys had a great eye for detail, clearly communicated with us and did a high quality job for a very fair price, we will definitely be using them again in the future.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul and his team at Grind & Shine were fantastic to deal with from start to finish.

We had multiple issues with other trades that needed to be sorted out during the job, and Paul and his team were extremely accommodating and worked around us to make the process as smooth as possible.

I would highly recommend Grind & Shine. Not only were they very competitive on price, but their service, communication and quality of workmanship were second to none.

Thanks again to Paul and the team for a great job!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We choose Grind and Shine because we wanted to go with a company with a good reputation with a proven track record and it was the right choice. It was a great experience from start to end. From the first phone call to the final coat of seal to our driveway Paul and his team were professional and did an outstanding job. It was a tough and difficult job where we had companies in the pass claim they could do the job with their method but were not successfull. Even when challenges came up the team kept persisting and found a way to get the job done to our satisfaction. A big thank you to Rob who went over and above. We appreciate this as many compaines would have found excuses, not Grind and Shine. They completed the job. Thank you very much for your hard work and an excellent job. I recommend Paul and his team to anyone.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very happy with the concrete honing from Grind & Shine. The honing was completed on plain concrete and looks great. They were easy to deal with and a reasonable price. Would book them again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mechanically Polished Concrete (Indoor)

When work began, there were many technical difficulties to overcome, because the slab was so old, hard and had long cracks. But Tom and Rob worked tirelessly over the week, with heavy-duty precision and expertise accumulated over many years in the industry. They took painstaking care to ensure crisp edges and a consistent finish. These gentlemen can be commended on their respectfulness, cheerfulness and positive teamwork, too.

Paul also impressed with his professionalism and accommodation for our changing schedules. He offered the most competitive quote and was easy to work with. Highly recommend Grind and Shine.

I chose MPC because of sustainability and practicality. It turned out beautiful, too. ("You have a bit of the river in your apartment", said Tom. He explained that there was only a small window in the 70s and 80s when the Brisbane River Rock was used as the aggregate in residential concrete.) The result exceeded expectations.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I couldn't be happier with the result. A huge thank you to Will, who completed the entire grind and polish process and went above and beyond from start to finish.

My slab was far from straightforward, but Will's attention to detail, commitment to achieving the right finish, and willingness to adapt along the way were outstanding. He took the time to explain every step of the process, communicated brilliantly throughout, and genuinely cared about delivering the best possible outcome.

What really stood out was how considerate Will was of the fact that I was living in the home throughout the project, with a young son in the mix as well. He carefully planned each stage to minimise disruption to our routine, kept me informed about what was coming next, and made what could have been a stressful process feel surprisingly smooth and low-impact.

The polished concrete has completely transformed the house, making it feel modern, bright and full of life.

Thanks again, Will. Your effort, adaptability and professionalism are greatly appreciated. You're not only a highly skilled tradesman but also a genuinely great person to work with.
